Tardics ID is provided and supervised by Technology and Research-Development in Computer Science (TARDICS) Ltd (a private limited company registered in United Kingdom under company number 12190107 and having its registered office address at The Embassy, 389 Newport Road, Cardiff, Wales, CF24 1TP; hereinafter TARDICS).
Please read and review these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering for or using your Tardics ID. By registering for or using your Tardics ID, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions, you may not register for or use the Tardics ID.
§ 1. Introduction
1.1. Tardics ID is an online account and federated identity offered by TARDICS to its customers, through which you can purchase, license, rent or subscribe to software, hardware, services and other in-app content (hereinafter collectively referred to as Products).
1.2. Products may be offered by TARDICS, its overseas subsidiaries or affiliates. Each Product is subject to its own specific terms and agreements, which must be reviewed and agreed to separately before purchase, subscription or use.
1.3. Some Products may require a Tardics ID to complete a purchase or subscription, provide access to in-app purchases or function correctly. You are responsible for maintaining your Tardics ID to ensure such access and prevent interruptions in the Products.
§ 2. Account
2.1. TARDICS will send an invitation to you to register a non-transferable, revocable Tardics ID after completing the first order.
2.2. TARDICS, at its discretion, may allow other natural persons from your organisation and/or affiliates to register a Tardics ID and access, configure or administer your Products.
2.3. You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
2.4. You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password to register.
2.5. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating the Tardics ID and to promptly update such information in the event of any changes.
2.6. TARDICS reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Tardics ID if the information provided is found to be inaccurate or incomplete.
2.7. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the login credentials (username and password) and any other information associated with your Tardics ID.
2.8. You agree to notify TARDICS immediately of any unauthorised use of your Tardics ID or any security breach.
2.9. You agree to use the Tardics ID solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2.10. You are prohibited from engaging in activities such as:
- Unauthorised access to other users' accounts.
- Engaging in fraudulent or misleading activities.
- Causing financial loss to, or damaging the reputation of TARDICS and its affiliates.
2.11. TARDICS reserves the right to monitor account activity and take action if it detects any violation of these Terms and Conditions.
§ 3. Account Recovery
3.1. If you lose access to your account, you may request recovery by contacting Customer Support and completing a personal identity verification process.
3.2. The identity verification process may include, but is not limited to, providing government-issued identification, answering security questions, or verifying ownership of the email address or payment methods associated with your account.
3.3. TARDICS will ensure the privacy and security of all information collected during the identity verification process. Such information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
3.4. Information provided for identity verification purposes will only be used for the purpose of recovering account access and will not be retained longer than necessary to complete the verification process, unless retention is required by law.
3.5. TARDICS reserves the right to deny account recovery requests if the verification process cannot confirm your identity or if there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity.
3.6. You agree to cooperate with TARDICS during the recovery process and provide accurate information to facilitate the verification.
§ 4. Termination of Account
4.1. TARDICS reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at its own discretion for violations of these Terms and Conditions or applicable laws.
4.2. If your account remains inactive for a period of one (1) year or more, and there are no active Products associated with the account, TARDICS reserves the right to close the account and delete any associated personal data, unless otherwise required by law or a contractual obligation to retain such data.
4.3. TARDICS will notify you at least 30 days before any action is taken regarding the deletion of your account and personal data, provided that the contact information on file is accurate and up-to-date.
4.4. You may prevent the closure of your account and deletion of personal data by logging into your account, contacting Customer Support before the end of the one-year inactivity period, or by ensuring that active Products remain associated with your account.
4.5. You may close your account and delete any associated personal data at any time by contacting Customer Support.
4.6. TARDICS will comply with applicable data protection laws when deleting personal data, and such deletion will be permanent unless the data is necessary for legal purposes.
§ 5. Privacy
5.1. Your use of the Tardics ID is subject to our Privacy Policy.
5.2. By registering, you consent to the collection, use and storage of your personal data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
5.3. You consent to the transfer of your personal data to Technology and Research-Development in Computer Science (TARDICS) Ltd, as the controller of your personal data, for the purposes of providing and supervising your Tardics ID.
5.4. You consent to the transfer and storage of your personal data on servers located within the European Union. Such transfers are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection laws and ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data.
§ 6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TARDICS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Tardics ID.
6.2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your statutory rights under English law.
§ 7. Final Provisions
7.1. TARDICS may update these Terms and Agreements from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to you and your continued use of the Tardics ID constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
7.2. These Terms and Conditions and your use of the Tardics ID shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising in connection with your use of the Tardics ID.
7.3. To the extent that any provisions of these Terms and Conditions are held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, then such provisions shall be severed and deleted without affecting the enforceability of the remaining provisions.
